服务条款

These terms govern your use of My PDF 2 MD. The short version: the tool is provided as-is, converted output is approximate and must be checked, and you are responsible for the documents you convert.
1. Agreement
These terms form an agreement between you and ("we", "us") governing your use of mypdf2md.com and the My PDF 2 MD applications (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
The Service converts PDF documents into Markdown. On the web, conversion runs entirely within your browser; we do not receive your files. The desktop application performs conversion locally on your computer.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality you have paid for, we will give reasonable notice.
3. Free tier and limits
The web version is free to use and supported by advertising. It applies limits which we may adjust from time to time, currently a maximum number of converted pages per document, a maximum file size, and a per-conversion time limit. The current values are shown in the interface.
Paid desktop licences remove the page limit. Licence terms, including activation limits, are stated at the point of purchase.
4. Your documents and your responsibility
You retain all rights in the documents you convert. We claim no ownership or licence over them, and since we never receive them we could not exercise one.
You are responsible for having the legal right to convert any document you use with the Service, including any copyright, confidentiality or data protection obligations attaching to it. You are equally responsible for the converted output and how you use it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to circumvent the free-tier limits, licence checks, or any other technical restriction
- Interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' access to it
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or a desktop licence key without our written permission
- Use automated means to access the Service at a volume that degrades it for others
6. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email address secure, since sign-in uses emailed links. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
7. Conversion accuracy: no warranty
Converting a PDF into structured Markdown requires inferring document structure from visual layout, because a PDF does not record it. This is inherently approximate. Headings may be assigned the wrong level, tables may lose columns, reading order may be wrong in complex layouts, and scanned documents produce no text at all.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that conversion output will be accurate or complete, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You must review converted output before relying on it. Do not use it for any purpose where an error would cause loss without checking it against the source document first.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Consumer rights
If you use the Service as a consumer, you may have statutory rights that these terms cannot override. Nothing here affects those rights.
10. Payments and refunds
Desktop licences are sold through a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. Their terms govern the payment itself, including invoicing and tax.
Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled case by case and in line with your statutory rights.
11. Third-party services
The Service uses third parties for hosting, authentication and advertising. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy and governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or if required by law. Provisions which by their nature should survive termination will do so, including the warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be signalled on the site before they take effect, and continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of , and the courts of have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer in your country of residence.
